The Mission of the Mayflower Institute

The mission of the Mayflower Institute is to proclaim the untold story of America's history, to prepare individuals and families to defend their Judeo-Christian heritage in all spheres of culture, and to inspire a new generation to rise up and restore America to "One Nation Under God".

The Vision of the Mayflower Institute

For almost four decades the Mayflower Institute has been dedicated to providing inspiration and resources for the building of biblically based civilizations, beginning with America's foundations. The purpose of the Mayflower follows the successful path of God's world-changers of the past who, against all odds, turned their world upside down. From Daniel in Babylon, to Jesus' disciples against the Roman Empire, to the Christian missionaries who tamed the barbarian hordes of Europe, to the faithful Pilgrims who carved a great civilization out of the wilderness, we are witnesses to God's never-changing successful strategy. This strategy is still transforming the world through His people. This strategy is not dependent upon power games or the weakening of our enemies. It is built upon God preparing His people to live out God's truth in all spheres of life, thereby securing the blessings of God.

To accomplish the task of preparing believers who are prepared to stand up for America's founding principles and purpose, the Mayflower Institute, in conjunction with other like-minded organizations, has been proclaiming America's providential history from primary source documents, training disciples, and developing dynamic documentaries, seminars and tours.

America was founded on the premise that religious, political and economic liberty, protected by law, would free the people to find their purpose under God.

The American vision worked. It produced religious liberties that brought to its shores the persecuted minorities from many nations. It spawned the longest lasting constitutional republic in history with 125 nations imitating our founding charters, and it ignited the engine of free enterprise, entrepreneurship, and inventions which have changed 4,000 years of subsistence living to real economic liberty for millions.

It is time to recover that original vision. Winston Churchill gave us clear instruction on how to recover the path to personal and national prosperity in difficult times. He said: "The greatest advances in human civilization have come when we learned what we had lost; when we had learned the lessons of history." Indeed, let us learn and heed the words of the wise.
